Siena had one of the best forwards in the nation last season. O.D. Anosike led the country in rebounding with 12.5 per game,
while finishing second to only Kansas’ Thomas Robinson in double-doubles with 23. In fact,
Anosike had 17 double-doubles in a row to start last season, falling one point shy of his 18th.

George Beamon wasn’t just the MAAc’s leading scorer last season, but was amongst the nation’s leaders in that
category as well. Beamon finished 24th in the country with 19.0 points per game, while also shooting well
from 3-point range at 42.7 percent.

Look at all of Derek Needham’s numbers last season and they were down from his first two seasons at Fairfield.
A lot of that had to do with the arrival of Rakim Sanders from Boston College. It also didn’t help when
he broke his foot and missed the final eight games of the season. Needham will play the 2012-13 season with a
screw in his foot to make sure it heals properly.
