The No. 1 team will undoubtedly be the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tide
travels to Missouri this Saturday, but with starter James Franklin out
for an already struggling Missouri squad, the Tide should be heavily
favored and slide into the No.1 position.
After the Tide there
are some toss-up-type scenarios ahead. Oregon is playing great football,
but so is South Carolina. At this point, those two seem to be
interchangeable behind Alabama.
There are a number of factors that
play into the BCS formula, and the South Carolina strength of schedule
may give them favor early. Here is a look at the projected Top 25 for
the first 2012 BCS poll.
